K.P. Sharma Oli Elected as UML Chairman
K.P. Sharma Oli has been elected as the chairman of Nepal Communist Party (UML).
In the 11th National General Convention, Oli defeated his rival Ishwar Pokharel to secure the top leadership position.
Out of 2,262 delegates, 2,227 participated in the voting. Oli received 1,663 votes, while Pokharel managed 564 votes.
