A total of 13.79 million ballot papers have been printed for the election of members of the House of Representatives across 110 constituencies in 47 districts.
According to the Election Commission, ballot papers have been printed for districts including Dolpa, Mugu, Jumla, Kalikot, Humla, Jajarkot, Dailekh, Rukum (West), Salyan, Surkhet, Bajura, Achham, Bajhang, Doti, Dadeldhura, Darchula, Baitadi, Kailali, Kanchanpur, Panchthar, Ilam, Terhathum, Bhojpur, Okhaldhunga, Sunsari, Taplejung, Sankhuwasabha, Solukhumbu, Khotang, Dhankuta, Baglung, Gulmi, Jhapa, Gorkha, Myagdi, Parbat, Bardaghat–Susta West (Nawalparasi), Morang, Udayapur, Mustang, Lamjung, Tanahun, Syangja, Bardiya, Rukum East, Dang, and Banke.
The Commission stated that ballot printing is underway at a rate of 1.5 million ballots per day.
Meanwhile, 20.83 million ballot papers have already been printed for the proportional representation (PR) electoral system. Under the first-past-the-post (FPTP) system, a total of 20.323 million ballot papers are required to be printed.
