The second edition of the Vatsalya Everest Women’s Volleyball League (EWVL) will open with a match between last year’s champion Karnali Yashvis and Pokhara Ninjas. The opening game is scheduled for 2 PM on Friday, Bhadra 20.
The second match of the day, featuring last year’s runner-up Lalitpur Queens against Madhes United, will be held at 4 PM.
Organized by Infinity Dreams Pvt. Ltd., the tournament will take place at the Pokhara Multipurpose Covered Hall. Six franchise teams—Karnali Yashvis, Lalitpur Queens, Kathmandu Spikers, Madhes United, Lumbini Lavhaj, and Pokhara Ninjas—will compete in a single round-robin format, with the top two teams playing the final on Bhadra 28.
This edition features 18 foreign players from various countries who have joined the league in Pokhara, adding an international flavor to the competition.
