
Attorney General Ramesh Badal Resigns
Attorney General Ramesh Badal has resigned from his post. Badal, who was appointed by outgoing Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, submitted his resignation on Bhadra 24 (September 9), according to Office Spokesperson and Deputy Attorney General Uddhav Prasad Pudasaini.
The Office of the President formally conveyed Badal’s resignation to the Office of the Attorney General on Sunday.
Badal had been appointed Attorney General on Shrawan 2, 2081 (July 18, 2024) upon the recommendation of then Prime Minister Oli, with the approval of President Ramchandra Paudel.
