An earthquake of magnitude 4.4 with its epicenter around Maghang, Sankhuwasabha district, struck late Friday night at 11:15 PM, according to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center (NEMRC/DMG).
Tremors were felt across different parts of the district. As per preliminary reports, no human casualties or property damage have been recorded so far.
