An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.4 on the Richter scale struck near Saipal Himal in Bajhang on Sunday at 12:09 PM.
According to the Seismology Center in Surkhet, the tremor was also felt in Bajura.
Following the earthquake, local residents in the Far-Western region have been alarmed. People in Bajura, Bajhang, and surrounding areas—identified as seismically vulnerable zones—expressed fear and concern.
The District Administration Office, Bajura, has urged everyone to remain cautious and follow safety protocols after feeling the tremors.
