Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav has called upon all Nepalis to move forward on the path of truth, peace, justice, love, and prosperity.
He made the appeal while addressing the program “Krishna Janmashtami and Chaitanya Tableau Unveiling and Discourse” organized by the Brahma Kumaris Rajyoga Service Center, Thamel, on Saturday.
The Vice President said that the life of Lord Krishna is not only a matter of religious faith but also a profound source of spiritual wisdom. Recalling events from Krishna’s childhood to youth, he noted that they convey messages of service, leadership, equality, and selfless action. He remarked, “By becoming Arjuna’s charioteer, Krishna set the highest example of service, showing that leadership is not only about power but also about serving others.”
Highlighting Krishna’s influence in music, dance, painting, and literature, the Vice President described the flute of Krishna as a symbol of love, beauty, and spiritual joy. Portraying Krishna as the embodiment of truth, compassion, love, and responsibility, he said Krishna’s life carries moral values that should be practiced in daily life.
“The philosophy of Karma Yoga taught by Krishna provides principles to make individuals and society industrious, responsible, and wise,” he said, adding, “If embraced, these principles can bring harmony, cultural prosperity, moral awakening, and meaningfulness in life.”
Vice President Yadav also praised the Brahma Kumaris organization for its continued contribution in spreading peace, harmony, and spiritual awareness in Nepali society since its establishment.
