Newly appointed Ujyalo Nepal Party Chairperson Kulman Ghising has accused the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) of unilaterally breaking the unity agreement.
Speaking at a press conference, Ghising said that the agreement could not be finalized even when he was ready to remain in RSP as an ordinary member, and alleged that the party broke the deal unilaterally while talks were still ongoing.
Ghising said, “Today, I am deeply hurt. I had sensed that this situation might arise. The past 12 days have been extremely distressing for me, marked by confusion about which direction to take. When I tried to move forward, they did not allow it; stepping back was also not an option, as it would mean abandoning the dreams of the Nepali people and the Gen Z generation.”
