In Nawalpur, two people have been injured by rhino attacks over the past two days. The incidents occurred on Tuesday and Wednesday, with the rhino attacking individuals in separate locations.
On Wednesday morning at around 6 a.m., a 3-year-old boy, Shibhans Regmi, was attacked in front of his home while playing in Madhyabindu Municipality–3, Brahmasthan. According to police spokesperson Inspector Bir Bahadur Gurung, the child is receiving treatment at Madhyabindu Provincial Hospital, Danda.
Earlier, on Tuesday, 40-year-old Hem Bahadur Kumal was attacked by a rhino while cutting grass in front of his home in Kawasoti Municipality–17, Amaltari. Kumal is also undergoing treatment at Madhyabindu Hospital, the police added.
