Nepal Rastra Bank has released the foreign exchange rates for today (Saturday). Accordingly, the buying rate for one US dollar has been set at Rs 144.72 and the selling rate at Rs 145.32. The buying and selling rates for one euro are Rs 171.61 and Rs 172.32 respectively, while the UK pound sterling stands at Rs 196.96 for buying and Rs 197.77 for selling, and the Swiss franc at Rs 188.03 for buying and Rs 188.81 for selling.
Similarly, the Australian dollar has a buying rate of Rs 102.06 and a selling rate of Rs 102.48, the Canadian dollar Rs 106.26 and Rs 106.70, and the Singapore dollar Rs 114.49 and Rs 114.96. The buying and selling rates for 10 Japanese yen are Rs 9.43 and Rs 9.47, for one Chinese yuan Rs 20.95 and Rs 21.03, for one Saudi riyal Rs 38.59 and Rs 38.75, and for one Qatari riyal Rs 39.71 and Rs 39.87.
According to the central bank, the Thai baht has been fixed at Rs 4.65 for buying and Rs 4.67 for selling, the UAE dirham at Rs 39.40 and Rs 39.56, the Malaysian ringgit at Rs 37.04 and Rs 37.19, and 100 South Korean won at Rs 10.00 and Rs 10.04. The Swedish krona stands at Rs 16.16 for buying and Rs 16.23 for selling, and the Danish krone at Rs 22.97 and Rs 23.07.
Likewise, the Hong Kong dollar has a buying rate of Rs 18.51 and a selling rate of Rs 18.59, the Kuwaiti dinar Rs 474.26 and Rs 476.22, the Bahraini dinar Rs 383.85 and Rs 385.44, and the Omani riyal Rs 375.92 and Rs 377.48. The exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been set at Rs 160.00 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling.
