Nepali Congress is set to make its election manifesto public on Falgun 3 (tomorrow). The party’s central publicity committee shared this information during a press conference held at the party headquarters in Sanepa on Saturday.
Party spokesperson Devaraj Chalise said the manifesto will be issued as a “pledge document” on behalf of the party. He stated that the document will include commitments along with specific timelines for completing the announced programs.
Chalise said that in the past, people felt manifestos were merely announcements filled with long-term dreams and big stories, and that the public did not show much interest in them. He said this time the party is bringing a pledge document rather than just a manifesto, emphasizing that it will clearly state what the party can and will accomplish within certain periods.
The Nepali Congress also said the manifesto will include a time-bound work schedule to fulfill the commitments mentioned. Spokesperson Chalise added that the party has changed and is bringing a document that ensures pledged commitments will be completed within the stipulated time.
