There is currently a partial influence of westerly winds in Nepal. At present, there is partial cloud cover in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, and Gandaki Province, while the weather remains clear in the rest of the country, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology’s Meteorological Forecasting Division.
According to the division, fog is likely to persist in some areas of the Terai region until midday on Sunday. The mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali Province will generally see cloudy conditions, while the hilly and mountainous regions of other provinces will have partial cloud cover and the Terai will remain mostly clear.
There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall at a few places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, as well as at one or two places in the hilly areas of these provinces and the high hills and mountains of other provinces.
Similarly, tonight, mist is likely in some parts of the Terai. Partial clouds are expected in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, while the rest of the country will remain mostly clear. There is also a chance of light rain and snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
