Tumlingtar Airport, which had remained closed for the past 10 days due to adverse weather, has reopened from today. Flights to and from Kathmandu have resumed after weather conditions improved.
According to Civil Aviation Office chief Navaraj Dahal, the Kathmandu–Tumlingtar flights are back in operation starting today.
Air services had been disrupted due to poor visibility caused by dense fog. Private airline companies operate regular flights at this airport.
