Maya Khola Hydropower Limited is set to issue rights shares and has appointed Citizens Capital Limited as the issue and sales manager for the offering.
The agreement was signed during a formal program between the two companies. On behalf of the hydropower company, Executive Chairman Dinesh Prasad Shrestha signed the deal, while CEO Sabir Bade Shrestha signed on behalf of Citizens Capital.
As per the agreement, Citizens Capital will carry out all necessary procedures to obtain approval from Securities Board of Nepal for the issuance of 10 million units of rights shares and will also manage the sales after approval.
The company was established in 2067 BS as a private firm and converted into a public limited company in 2073 BS. It has developed a 14.9 MW Maya Khola hydropower project in Sankhuwasabha District and has been generating electricity since Asar 2080 BS, selling power to the Nepal Electricity Authority.
Earlier, the company had issued its initial public offering to the general public in Magh 2079 BS.
