Academic activities at Tribhuvan University have been affected as the Gen Z-led protests escalated into chaos.
The unrest, which turned violent, saw major administrative buildings including the Parliament, Singha Durbar, and the Supreme Court set on fire. In the wake of this turmoil, Tribhuvan University decided to close its campus temporarily.
The university’s decision comes shortly after classes had already been suspended a week ago due to the annual holidays for Dashain, Tihar, and Chhath festivals.
