
The match between Nepal and Bhutan in the AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers ended in a 1-1 draw today. The game was held at the Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu, Bhutan.
Nepal got off to a flying start, opening the scoring in the very first minute through Senu Pariyar. However, the lead didn’t last long, as Bhutan equalized in the 18th minute with a goal from Kelden Wangmo.
In the 70th minute, Nepal found the net again, but the goal was disallowed after the assistant referee raised the offside flag. Both teams failed to score in the second half, and the match concluded in a draw.
With this result, both Nepal and Bhutan earned one point each.
