Amisha Parajuli, a supporter of Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist), has filed a complaint at the Cyber Bureau of Nepal Police in Bhotahiti against individuals involved in online harassment and character assassination.
Parajuli lodged the complaint after receiving abusive messages and even rape threats on social media following her public remarks विरोधing the arrest of party chairman KP Sharma Oli.
She stated that her videos were misused, and she faced widespread verbal abuse and threats in comment sections across social platforms. According to her, the complaint has been filed collectively against all those involved in misusing her content, issuing threats, and engaging in harassment.
Parajuli maintains that she did not say anything wrong, yet faced a wave of negative and inhumane reactions. She also mentioned that her family has supported her throughout the situation, affirming that they are aware she did nothing inappropriate.
Earlier, she had expressed her view that Oli’s arrest was unconstitutional. Following that statement, she has reportedly been subjected to intense cyberbullying and abusive behavior online.
