
The ANFA Women’s League qualifiers, organized by the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), are kicking off today.
Matches will be held at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato and the Chyasal Stadium, with 14 teams participating. Five teams will qualify for the final round of the Women’s League.
The participating teams have been divided into two groups, and matches will be played on a round-robin basis. The top two teams from each group will qualify directly for the Women’s League, while the third-place teams from each group will compete for the fifth and final spot in the final round.
The teams competing in the qualifiers include New Road Team (NRT), Student Football Club, Sindhupalchok FC, RS Resort & Beach, Rapti Football Club, NBM Pokhara Girls FC, and Nepal Sports Club.
Similarly, Lamki Football & Training Centre, Jhapa FC, FC Royale, Church Boys United, Chhahari Youth Club, Butwal Lumbini FC, and Sankata Club will also vie for qualification.
According to ANFA, around Rs. 9 million will be spent on the tournament, and all preparations for the qualifiers have been completed.
