Sujan Koirala, chair of the All Nepal National Free Students’ Union (ANNFSU), has withdrawn his resignation, citing pressure and threats that forced him to step down earlier.
Koirala claimed he faced physical assault and even an attempt on his life, stressing the need for unity within the movement. He explained that his resignation—posted on social media—was written under duress after incidents of gunfire at students during the Gen Z protests and an armed attack on his own home.
