The Armed Police Force (APF) Nepal has cleared snow on obstructed roads in Manang, Mustang, and other Himalayan districts caused by last night’s snowfall, facilitating safe passage for trekkers and tourists.
In Upper Mustang, Nechung, Lomanthang Rural Municipality–5, the APF cleared snow from the trekking route and advised tourists to travel safely and exercise caution, informed APF Spokesperson Shailendra Thapa. The APF team at the Nechung Border Outpost also cleared snow along the path leading to Korala Pass to ease travel difficulties. They further requested visitors to avoid the area if additional snowfall occurs.
Similarly, the APF cleared snow along the route from Chame to Khangsar in Disyang Rural Municipality–4, Manang. The APF security forces deployed from No. 32 Gulm, Manang urged travelers to stay cautious and remain aware of adverse weather conditions.
In Annapurna Rural Municipality–4, Myagdi, the APF Disaster Management Base at Narachyang, Myagdi assisted trekkers on the Annapurna trekking route. The team reached above Humkhola to ensure the safety and convenience of trekkers.
