For Nepali students aspiring to pursue higher education in Australia, the Australian Education Fair 2025 will be held in Kathmandu this coming Friday. Organized by Global Education Services Pvt. Ltd. (Global Reach) with participation from representatives of over 30 Australian universities, the fair will take place at Hotel Yak & Yeti from 11 AM to 4 PM.
At a press conference in Kathmandu on Monday, Global Reach Head of Operations Narayan Bajaj said that students would be able to gain direct information about more than 3,000 academic programs at the event. The fair will also provide guidance on scholarship opportunities of up to 100%, as well as personalized career and academic counseling services. Entry to the fair will be free, and registered students will receive a 50% discount on IELTS fees along with various gifts.
Ritu Bajaj Goenka, Nepal Operations Coordinator for Global Reach, stated that since the organization represents more than five universities worldwide, this education fair will stand out from other similar events. Global Reach currently operates 46 offices across Australia, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, and Bangladesh.
In addition to Kathmandu, Global Reach will organize similar education fairs in Pokhara on August 17, Chitwan on August 18, and Butwal on August 19. To serve students from various districts, the fair will also be held in Birtamod on August 21 and in Kumaripati, Lalitpur on August 22.
