Senior leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, Balendra Shah (Balen), has arrived in Jhapa Constituency No. 5 to file his candidacy for the House of Representatives election. According to information, he is scheduled to register his nomination on Tuesday at 11 a.m.
CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli is also a candidate from Jhapa-5. Oli’s secretariat has stated that he will file his nomination on Tuesday afternoon at 1 p.m.
Oli reached Jhapa on Monday, while Balen arrived in Jhapa on Tuesday after completing a program in Janakpur. Balen informed through social media on Tuesday morning that he had arrived in Jhapa-5.
