
Bhandipur Cable Car & Tourism has opened its initial public offering (IPO) for the general public starting today.
The company has issued 58.6 million shares, equivalent to 20.7% of its total capital of NPR 283 crore, at a face value of NPR 100 per share.
Of these, 2% (566,000 shares) were allocated to residents of the project-affected area, and 10% (529,400 shares) were sold to Nepalis working abroad.
After issuing shares in the first phase to local residents and overseas Nepalis, the company has now opened the second phase of the IPO for general investors. In this phase, 43,418,080 shares worth NPR 43.41 crore will be offered to the public.
Investors can apply for a minimum of 10 shares and a maximum of 20,000 shares. Applications for the IPO will be accepted until September 1, 2025 (Bhadra 15), with the company reserving the right to extend the deadline until September 11, 2025 (Bhadra 25).
