
Bhatbhateni Departmental Store, which had come under attack during the Gen-Z protests, has resumed services from branches that were not completely destroyed by arson and vandalism.
The company announced that from September 12 (Bhadra 27), it has restarted operations at 16 branches nationwide, open from 2:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
In the Kathmandu Valley, stores in Tokha, Satdobato, Anamnagar, Sanagaun, UWTC, Patan, Kalanki, Radhe Radhe, and Balaju are now operational. Outside the Valley, branches in Nepalgunj, Janakpur, Butwal, Birgunj, Dhangadhi, Itahari, and Bhairahawa have also reopened.
Expressing gratitude to customers for their patience and continuous support amid destruction, the company released a notice stating, “We are open again.”
During the protests, numerous private businesses and supermarkets across the country were attacked, with several Bhatbhateni outlets suffering damages.
