Renowned Nepali folk singer Bishnu Majhi has released her latest song, “Ma Ta Narauri” (Putaliko Bhatti–21). As always, Majhi brings her signature authentic voice and touching lyrics to the new release.
Bishnu Majhi’s songs are not limited to dance and entertainment — they often carry deep stories and emotions of Nepali women. “Ma Ta Narauri” continues this tradition, portraying the heartfelt struggles and pain behind a woman’s farewell, where she says “I won’t cry” but endures silent suffering.
The song’s creative team remains the same as her past works, with lyrics, music, and direction by her husband, Sundarmani Adhikari.
The music video features model Lalita Paudel, who also appeared in last year’s viral Teej song “Aina Aama Yo Teejma”. Choreographed by Mausam Himali, the video showcases over 60 chorus performers dancing together. Cinematography is by Shambhu Chalise, and editing by Prabin Bhatt.
