The body of Bipin Joshi, who was killed while being held hostage by the militant group Hamas, is being brought back to Nepal today (Monday).
According to the Government of Nepal, his body will arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu at 3 PM today.
Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation; Physical Infrastructure and Transport; and Urban Development Kul Man Ghising informed that he will be present at Tribhuvan International Airport at 3 PM to receive Bipin’s body and offer condolences.
“I was shocked when I heard the news. One of our talented youths became a victim of inhumane and brutal international violence. I express my deepest sorrow over his tragic death and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family,” Ghising said. “Even in those final terrifying moments, he showed extraordinary courage, bravery, and sacrifice that helped save the lives of many others. His heroic act is the greatest legacy of his life. It will forever make us proud of him. He will always remain alive among us as a symbol of Nepali pride.”
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bipin’s body will be transported from Kathmandu to his home in Kanchanpur under the coordination of the Nepal Army.
