A splinter group from Dr. CK Raut’s Janamat Party has officially been recognized as a new political party named Janaswaraj Party (JASWAPA) by the Election Commission on Tuesday.
The newly formed party is led by Deepak Kumar Sah as its chairperson. According to the Commission, the party flag consists of vertical stripes in blue, white, and red.
The split follows internal disputes within the Janamat Party, particularly after disciplinary action was taken against vice-chairperson Deepak Sah and treasurer Suryanarayan Yadav, which escalated tensions.
After prolonged disagreements, several leaders chose to formally break away and establish a separate political entity.
