Buddha Air owner Birendra Bahadur Basnet has registered a new political party at the Election Commission. The party, initiated by Basnet, is named the “Gatishil Loktantrik Party” (Dynamic Democratic Party).
According to the registration details, sociologist Dinesh Prasai serves as the party president, while Piyush Kayastha is the general secretary. Basnet himself is listed as a member of the party.
The party’s slogan is “Sabai Milau, Desh Bachau, Desh Banau” (Let’s Unite, Save the Nation, Build the Nation).
