A candidate has withdrawn from the race and announced support for Bhupdev Shah of the Rastriya Swatantra Party.
According to an agreement reached in Mangalsen, Raval stated that he would extend full support to Shah in favor of change, good governance, and accountable politics.
He clarified that the decision was made to avoid the possibility of vote splitting.
Shah also said the agreement reflects the will of the voters and pledged that, if elected, he would advance the agendas of both sides.
