A faction led by Purna Bahadur Khadka and Shekhar Koirala organized a congratulatory program for newly elected federal lawmakers from the Nepali Congress.
According to House of Representatives member Nishkal Rai, the event was scheduled for Monday afternoon at Smart Hotel Dhumbarahi to honor newly elected members of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly from the party.
Earlier on Saturday, the party had conducted a parliamentary awareness and orientation program for the newly elected lawmakers at its central office in Sanepa.
