The Nepali Congress office-bearers and former office-bearers’ meeting will continue tomorrow, as today’s session could not complete statements from all participants.
Party spokesperson Prakash Sharan Mahat said, “Not all office-bearers and former office-bearers got a chance to express their views today, so the meeting will continue tomorrow.” According to him, the meeting will be held at 1 PM tomorrow as well.
He added that leaders mainly shared their opinions focusing on the country’s current political situation and party-related matters.
Mahat explained, “Given the present context and recent political developments, the meeting discussed the challenges facing the country, how to move forward confidently and positively, and how to safeguard democratic values while preventing the nation from weakening.”
The ongoing meeting will also help set the agenda for the Central Working Committee meeting scheduled for Asoj 26 (October 12).
