The Road Division Office has reported difficulties in clearing the landslide due to the continuous falling of rocks, which has hindered efforts to reopen the road.
Heavy equipment, including loaders and excavators, has been deployed from both sides of the blockage—loaders and an excavator from the Narayangadh side, and two loaders and one excavator from the Muglin side—to remove the debris.
Officials stated that if the rockfall stops, there is a possibility of clearing the landslide and resuming vehicle movement by this evening. The landslide began around 6:30 PM on Friday, completely blocking the road section.
