The CPN (Unified Socialist) has called a meeting of its Central Secretariat for October 10 (Ashoj 24). According to party Vice Chairman Prakash Jwala, the Standing Committee and Politburo meetings will also be held following the Secretariat meeting.
The party had earlier planned to hold its meeting in the last week of Bhadra, but it was postponed due to the GenZ movement.
In the previous Secretariat meeting, the party had formed a negotiation committee led by Beduram Bhusal to explore the possibility of party unification with the Maoist Centre.
The upcoming meeting is expected to hold further discussions on party unification and review recent political developments.
