Cricket player Minash Thapa has died in a motorcycle accident in Biratnagar. The 27-year-old Thapa lost his life in an accident that occurred early this morning, police said. A resident of Biratnagar, Thapa was riding a motorcycle bearing registration number Province 1-02-042 Pa 8002 along the inner road of Biratnagar-4 while heading from the Airport Line towards Ganesh Chowk when the accident took place. According to preliminary police estimates, the motorcycle went out of control at around 12:45 am, leading to the crash. Thapa was critically injured and rushed to Koshi Hospital for treatment, where doctors declared him dead, informed Morang District Police Office Chief and SP Kavita Katwal. Thapa had been representing Koshi Province in cricket.
