The Kaski District Administration Office has imposed a curfew in Pokhara Metropolitan City from 7 PM today until 5 AM tomorrow. The order applies to all 33 wards of the metropolis.
Authorities stated that the decision was made on the recommendation of the District Security Committee, citing possible protests, vandalism, and threats to law and order given the current situation.
During the curfew period, all movement, gatherings, rallies, demonstrations, assemblies, and sit-ins are strictly prohibited. However, vehicles such as ambulances, hearses, fire trucks, and those belonging to health workers and security personnel will be allowed to operate.
Additionally, on September 12 (Bhadra 27) from 5 AM to 10 AM, limited movement will be permitted for essential purposes, the administration clarified.
