Leaders and activists supporting Sher Bahadur Deuba have staged a protest against the Election Commission’s decision to recognize the Gagan Thapa-led faction of the Nepali Congress.
The protest took place on Sunday at Maiti Ghar Mandala in Kathmandu. The Deuba faction claims that the Commission’s decision is incorrect.
In addition to the protest, the Deuba group has also filed a writ petition at the Supreme Court on Sunday challenging the Election Commission’s decision.
