Dr. Gopi Lal Neupane has announced a new political party named Nepal Liberal Party. He made the announcement during a press conference held in Kathmandu on Tuesday.
While unveiling the party, Dr. Neupane said that the Nepal Liberal Party believes in capitalism and claimed that its formation marks a historic moment in Nepal’s political evolution. He declared that with the establishment of this party, Nepal has now entered the capitalist era and embraced a free market system.
He stated, “Today, we are announcing a party that believes in capitalism. This is a historic moment in Nepal’s history. Nepal has now entered the capitalist era. From today onward, we declare that Nepal has entered a free market system.”
Dr. Neupane said the party has been formed with the aim to free Nepali people from poverty, fear, and unemployment, ensure immediate justice, establish rule of law, promote good governance, and achieve economic prosperity through economic liberalization.
He further added that the Nepal Liberal Party is committed to promoting personal freedom and economic reform based on key 21st-century liberal values such as tax cuts, openness, mutual respect, accountable administration, market regulation, modernization, industrialization, ethical politics, and globalization to ensure the well-being of the Nepali people.
