Dr. Kamal (Nicholas) Bhusal, contesting the upcoming election with the election symbol “Gen-Z’s Shoe,” has unveiled an ambitious vision that includes transforming Nepal into a “Green Heaven” by 2090 BS and redefining the entire Earth as a heaven by the year 2100.
Making public a draft of his election manifesto through social media on Wednesday, Dr. Bhusal claimed that Nepal would be established as a model “Green Heaven” by 2090 BS and that, through a World Peace Organization, the Earth itself would be recognized globally as a heaven by 2100. He stated that the manifesto is still in the drafting phase and invited suggestions from the general public.
His proposed concept outlines time-bound commitments for sweeping economic and social reforms. Dr. Bhusal pledged to fulfill all demands of the Gen-Z generation within one month of assuming office. Within three months, he claims he would recover lost funds of cooperative victims, microfinance victims, and those affected by loan-sharking practices.
According to his plan, essential services such as education, healthcare, justice, security, drinking water, and electricity would be made completely free within one year. Within three years, he aims to generate sufficient domestic employment to repay the nation’s entire debt.
Going further, Dr. Bhusal has claimed that within five years Nepal’s economy would reach NPR 3,000 trillion, making every Nepali a millionaire, and within eight years Nepal would become a global model of heaven. He has also proposed radical changes to the state system, including declaring Nepal a Vedic Sanatan Hindu, Buddhist, and Kirat nation.
Expressing dissatisfaction with the current federal structure, he proposed abolishing provincial assemblies and ministers, while placing full responsibility for education and healthcare on the state. He emphasized achieving an economic revolution through the lawful use of Nepal’s mines, water resources, forests, and medicinal herbs, and pledged to establish good governance by ensuring justice for all.
His manifesto also includes reducing imports, ending the trade deficit within three years, and recognizing transport entrepreneurs as a dignified profession. Special focus has been placed on Rupandehi district, where he envisions Butwal as an education hub, Tilottama as an industrial center, and Sainamaina as an information technology hub.
Dr. Bhusal also pledged to upgrade Lumbini Provincial Hospital into a medical college, construct embankments along the Tinau River, find long-term solutions to squatter issues, and control landslides in Jyotinagar. For tourism, he set a target of attracting 10 million tourists annually, upgrading religious sites and parks, building a playground in every ward, and constructing one stadium per province.
Describing himself as a citizen of a “guru nation of the world,” Dr. Bhusal argued that Nepal is not inherently poor but has been made poor. Upholding nationalism, unity, humanity, and self-reliance as core principles, he expressed his ambition for Nepal to lead global peace efforts by coordinating with world powers through a Global Peace Union.
