Medical entrepreneur and activist Durga Prasai has claimed that the House of Representatives election scheduled for Falgun 21 cannot take place.
Speaking to the media after his meeting with Prime Minister Sushila Karki on Monday, Prasai said he put forward his demands for the restoration of the monarchy and the re-establishment of Nepal as a Hindu nation.
According to Prasai, Prime Minister Karki has assured him that she will provide a response by Poush 2.
Prasai further warned that the elections cannot be held unless his demands are fulfilled, adding that a people’s uprising may erupt if the government fails to address them.
