Medical entrepreneur and protest leader Durga Prasai is set to visit India on Sunday, just days before his planned protest movement begins on December 7 (Mangsir 7).
According to sources, Prasai is scheduled to meet with several high-level Indian political leaders during his visit.
Meanwhile, Prasai’s group has been mobilizing teams across the country in preparation for the upcoming phase of their movement. Sources say he plans to formally announce the protest after returning from India.
During a press conference last Wednesday, Prasai said the movement would focus on “system change”, extending from Mechi to Mahakali, covering all 14 zones, 75 districts, and 165 constituencies.
He has also stated that the campaign starting on December 7 will be peaceful, with no anarchic activities involved.
