An earthquake was felt in Bajhang district early Tuesday morning. According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center, the tremor measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale occurred at 1:08 a.m.
The epicenter was located in Dantola, Bajhang, the center reported. The midnight quake caused panic among locals, and tremors were also felt in neighboring districts.
However, local police confirmed that no damage or casualties have been reported so far.
