
The eight countries from Asia that have qualified for the FIFA World Cup 2026 have now been confirmed. With Qatar and Saudi Arabia securing their places following last night’s matches, the list of Asian qualifiers is complete.
For the first time ever, Jordan and Uzbekistan have qualified for the World Cup, marking a historic achievement for both nations. Alongside them, Australia, Iran, Japan, South Korea, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia have also qualified.
Meanwhile, UAE and Iraq will compete in November for a chance to play in the intercontinental playoff, where one of them will fight for a potential final spot in the tournament.
In total, eight Asian nations will qualify directly, while one will advance to the intercontinental playoff.
The FIFA World Cup 2026 will be held from June 11 to July 19, 2026, across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, and will feature 48 teams for the first time in history.
