From Group A, India national cricket team and Pakistan national cricket team have advanced to the Super 8. The United States national cricket team, Netherlands national cricket team, and Namibia national cricket team were eliminated.
In Group B, Sri Lanka national cricket team and Zimbabwe national cricket team have secured progression, with their remaining match set to decide the group winner and runner-up. Ireland national cricket team, Australia national cricket team, and Oman national cricket team have been knocked out.
Group C saw both the West Indies cricket team and England cricket team finish with six points to move into the Super 8. Scotland national cricket team, Italy national cricket team, and Nepal national cricket team were eliminated at the group stage.
From Group D, South Africa national cricket team and New Zealand national cricket team progressed to the next round. South Africa delivered a dominant performance by winning all four matches, while New Zealand secured second place with three victories. Afghanistan national cricket team, United Arab Emirates national cricket team, and Canada national cricket team have exited the tournament.
The Super 8 stage will begin on Saturday. Group 1 features India, South Africa, West Indies, and Zimbabwe, while Group 2 includes England, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. Teams in each group will compete in a round-robin format, with the top two from each group advancing to the semifinals. The opening Super 8 match will be played between New Zealand and Pakistan, and the tournament final is scheduled for March 8.
