The eighth edition of the Prime Minister Cup (PM Cup) cricket tournament kicks off today.
On the opening day, Koshi Province will face Madhesh Province in Janakpur, while Lumbini Province will take on Karnali Province in Parsa.
According to the Cricket Association of Nepal, matches will be held across four venues: the lower and upper Mulpani grounds in Kathmandu, along with grounds in Janakpur and Parsa. Earlier scheduled matches at TU Cricket Ground have been shifted to the lower Mulpani ground.
The tournament will run from Chaitra 7 to Baisakh 4, 2083.

The tournament will be played in a one-day format, with the winner receiving a cash prize of NPR 1 million and the runner-up NPR 500,000, as announced by CAN.
