A of both houses of the Federal Parliament of Nepal has been scheduled for Thursday at 2:00 PM.
Following the formal summons by President Ram Chandra Paudel, the Parliament Secretariat will carry out seating arrangements today (Wednesday), according to Parliament spokesperson Ekaram Giri.
A meeting of all political parties will also be held on Wednesday to prepare a tentative agenda for Thursday’s session. The agenda finalized in that meeting is expected to be made public later today.
The meeting of the House of Representatives of Nepal will take place at the Federal Parliament Building’s multipurpose hall in Singha Durbar. Similarly, the National Assembly of Nepal will meet at its chamber within the Parliament Secretariat at Singha Durbar.
This will be the first parliamentary session following the House of Representatives election held on Falgun 21.
