
Several highways across Nepal have been obstructed due to floods and landslides on Saturday, according to a report released by Nepal Police at 10 AM today.
As per the report, five major road sections have been completely blocked, while seven others are operating only in one direction.
The Koshi Highway in Bhotkhola Rural Municipality–8 of Sankhuwasabha district has been entirely blocked. Similarly, in Rasuwa, the bridge connecting Nepal and China in Gosaikunda Rural Municipality–2, as well as sections of the Pasang Lhamu Highway in Gosaikunda-2 and 3 and the Galchhi-Trishuli to Mailung-Syafru road in Uttargaya Rural Municipality–5, are fully closed.
Additionally, in Rukum West, the Jajarkot–Dolpa Bheri Corridor Road at Aathbiskot Municipality–6 has been completely obstructed due to flooding.
Authorities are working to clear the roadways and restore transportation, but continued rainfall may delay recovery efforts.
