A Flydubai flight en route from Dubai to Kathmandu was forced to make an emergency landing in Lucknow, India.
The aircraft, flight number FZ-1133, landed at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport at 8:22 AM on Saturday, according to Press Trust of India.
Reports indicate the aircraft was running low on fuel. A total of 154 passengers were on board. After landing, all passengers were safely evacuated, and the aircraft remains stationed at the airport under heightened monitoring to ensure safety.
The decision to divert the flight to Lucknow was made as a precautionary measure prioritizing passenger safety.
Earlier, a flight of Air India Express traveling from Bagdogra to Delhi had also made an emergency landing at the same airport due to technical issues. That flight was carrying 148 passengers and 6 crew members.
