The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has said that there is currently no significant weather system affecting the country. However, fog is expected to occur in some parts of the Tarai region this afternoon.
According to the department, partly cloudy conditions are likely in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi and Sudurpaschim provinces, while the rest of the country will experience mostly clear weather. Similarly, fog is expected to form in some areas of the Tarai region tonight as well.
The department further stated that Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces will see partly cloudy conditions, with mainly clear weather prevailing across other regions. It has urged all concerned to take necessary precautions, noting that fog may have a partial impact on daily life, tourism, health services, as well as air and road transportation.
