Arghakhanchi – Nine people were injured in a Force jeep accident in Chhatradev Rural Municipality-5, Dandachaupari of Arghakhanchi district.
The jeep (registration number Lu 1 Ja 4352) was traveling from Chhatraganj to Sandhikhark when its brakes reportedly failed, causing the vehicle to crash.
There were 15 people on board, out of which nine were injured. According to Diwaz Jisi, Chief of the District Police Office Arghakhanchi, the condition of two of the injured is critical.
The seriously injured have been identified as:
- Bel Bahadur Mukhia (27) – driver, resident of Paanini Rural Municipality-8, Pali
- Bhoj Raj Bhusal (70) – resident of Malarani-1, Arghakhanchi
Other injured include:
- Kamaladevi Pandey (68) – Chhatradev-7
- Rima Bhusal (60) – Malarani-1
- Sita Bhusal (35) – Malarani-1
- Kamala Subedi (55) – Butwal-16, Ranigunj, Rupandehi
- Pooja Pandey (18) – Malarani-7
- Pavitra Pandey (2) – daughter of Pooja Pandey
- Anjana Rasaili (23) – Chhatradev-5, Dandachaupari
Police said all the injured are undergoing treatment at Arghakhanchi Hospital.
