Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for today (Sunday). According to the determined rates, the buying rate for one US dollar is NPR 144.72 and the selling rate is NPR 145.32.
Similarly, the buying and selling rates for one euro are NPR 171.61 and NPR 172.32 respectively. The UK pound sterling has a buying rate of NPR 196.96 and a selling rate of NPR 197.77, while the Swiss franc is set at NPR 188.03 for buying and NPR 188.81 for selling.
The Australian dollar has a buying rate of NPR 102.06 and a selling rate of NPR 102.48. The Canadian dollar is fixed at NPR 106.26 for buying and NPR 106.70 for selling, and the Singapore dollar at NPR 114.49 for buying and NPR 114.96 for selling.
For 10 Japanese yen, the buying rate is NPR 9.43 and the selling rate is NPR 9.47. The Chinese yuan has a buying rate of NPR 20.95 and a selling rate of NPR 21.03. The Saudi Arabian riyal is set at NPR 38.59 for buying and NPR 38.75 for selling, while the Qatari riyal stands at NPR 39.71 for buying and NPR 39.87 for selling.
According to the central bank, the Thai baht has a buying rate of NPR 4.65 and a selling rate of NPR 4.67. The UAE dirham is NPR 39.40 for buying and NPR 39.56 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit is fixed at NPR 37.04 for buying and NPR 37.19 for selling. The buying and selling rates for 100 South Korean won are NPR 10.00 and NPR 10.04. The Swedish krona is NPR 16.16 for buying and NPR 16.23 for selling, while the Danish krone is NPR 22.97 and NPR 23.07 respectively.
The bank has set the Hong Kong dollar at NPR 18.51 for buying and NPR 18.59 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar has a buying rate of NPR 474.26 and a selling rate of NPR 476.22. The Bahraini dinar is fixed at NPR 383.85 for buying and NPR 385.44 for selling, and the Omani riyal at NPR 375.92 and NPR 377.48 respectively. The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees is NPR 160 and the selling rate is NPR 160.15.
The central bank stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time if necessary. It also noted that the rates set by commercial banks may differ, and updated rates are available on the central bank’s website.
